Description

Stimuli from different nerve sensory cells can come together at a synapse and together generate the outgoing signal. When deciding whether the threshold value for the action potential is exceeded, an addition of the promoting and a subtraction of the inhibiting stimuli takes place in the synapse. In experiment B1.1.1.6, this offsetting is investigated with the help of stimulus generator modules.
