Analysis of ground fauna using sieves (Berlese funnels)
Analysis of ground fauna using sieves (Berlese funnels)

Description

The soil fauna includes many small animals, which means that most people are not familiar with it. In this experiment, the students take a closer look. They examine the soil fauna in their samples. In doing so, they realise that life, even very small life, can be very diverse. The life in a soil sample is thus also an example of biodiversity.
