Description

In this experiment, the students synthesise and study the azo dye Orange II, also known as pH indicator. Having previously dealt with azo dyes in class is assumed in the experimental evaluation. You can provide the structural formulae of sulphanilic acid and 2-naphthol to the students if necessary.
