Description

Shown on the front is a schematic diagram of the rods in the retina. This module encodes light stimuli in the form of electrical pulses (0 to 30 Hz, indicated by a green LED). A photocell which is connected to the module via a coiled cord is used to receive the light; the photocell may also be plugged on to the module.
