Conductivity of strong and weak acids - Digital

LC1.4.2.1C
Conductivity of strong and weak acids - Digital
Conductivity of strong and weak acids - Digital

Description

In this experiment the students measure the conductivity of acetic acid and hydrochloric acid and learn to distinguish between strong and weak acids based on the measurement results.

The students also measure the conductivity of 100 % acetic acid (glacial acetic acid) and find that there is no conductivity here. They can conclude that water is needed for dissociation.
