Enthalpy of neutralisation

LC3.3.1.2
Enthalpy of neutralisation
Enthalpy of neutralisation

Description

In this experiment, the students will measure the amount of heat released in an acid-base reaction by using their calorimeter. Then the molar enthalpy of neutralisation can be calculated based on the measured values. The students should compare the value they measured with the literature value and also learn to estimate their own measured values.
