Description

In this experiment, the students learn about Allen's rule as one of the ecogeographical rules. With this simple but very illustrative model experiment, the students learn why the body appendages (extremities, tail, ears) are shorter in animals of the same temperature that live in cold areas than in related species that live in warmer areas.
