Distillation of cola
Distillation of cola

Description

Distillation is one of the most important separating processes in chemistry. It involves the thermal separation of mixtures of substances. In this experiment, the students will distil cola. They learn that (as in the distillation of wine) the aromatic substances in the distillate are collected in the receiver and the colouring substances remain in the sump.
