Touch

Description

In this experiment, the students explore the sense of touch and are able to identify the basic neurobiological concept of desensitisation as well as the variance in the distribution of skin sensory cells. They learn that the perceptual sensation depends on both the duration and the location of the touch. For this they give feedback on a perceived pressure sensation of different duration and at different locations on the hand.
